Hello! Shannon here, from Shannon Nicole Smith Photography. Yup, that's me in the pictures to the left. You can tell its me because I have a camera permanently attached to my face. Okay, not really, but close enough. But this is the image of me that all of my clients have come to love (right guys?). So without further ado, I'd like to tell you a little about my trade and myself.

I've been interested in photography for as long as I've had fully developed motor skills, but I truly started taking classes and learning about the craft in 2000. I developed a specific talent in black & white darkroom development with film - in this area I earned recognition early on and was even featured in many art shows and festivals in my hometown.

It was wonderful to receive feedback and acknowledgment for something I just truly enjoyed doing. From there, I invested in a quality camera and started working with digital photography. I've polished and refined my photography skills to involve personal and portrait photography, editorial shoots, wedding & engagement photography, and event photography. What started as a quiet personal hobby of mine has evolved into a flair for detail and a personal regard for fashioning unique images filled to the brim with the vivacity, emotion, and distinct character that are unique to you and yours.

I have become a connoisseur of all things beautiful and vibrant. I thoroughly enjoy capturing the sum and the substance of the moment, and sharing that with others. So if you're looking for quality images from an avid beauty aficionado, you've come to the right place!
