I just came back from a very successful engagement shoot with Sean & Jerriann and I am so excited to post the pictures. This newly engaged couple is so fun and spunky, from their indie style clothing choices to their adorable tattoos! It was such a treat to shoot for a couple who is willing to do almost anything and even wait through the rainstorms with me to get the perfect shot! So this is the sneak peak, but expect a whole album up here very soon! I can’t wait to book more fun, energetic, artsy, indie and edgy couples who enjoy the experience of the shoot as much as I do!

Thursday, July 9th, 2009So I am currently planning a Trash the Dress session with a friend of mine.
TTD is this great movement in wedding photography that takes place after the wedding. The newlywed bride takes her dress to the streets, the ocean, fields, and all kinds of rural and urban areas without much concern for keeping it clean or in pre-wedding condition. This is a great excuse to wear your wedding dress again, and it gives you youthful and fresh photographs that are editorial and edgy.
I can’t say how excited I am to do this type of shoot; there is so much room for artistic expression when you can trash the dress! Plus, if we find a unique location and apply some of our indie sensibilities, the shots are going to turn out stunningly original and that’s all we could ask for.
