That’s right ladies. The holidays are over (can you believe it?) and V-day is right around the corner. Every year I am so pooped from holiday present-giving that I can’t quite muster out another thoughtful gift so soon after the gift-giving frenzy that is “holiday season”. Well, this year I thought I could help some girls out with gift ideas. Boudoir and bridal sessions are a fun and romantic way to give a personal and intimate gift to your valentine, and now, when you book before 2/10/10 you get 20% off your session cost. Some of you might be wondering what a boudoir session is, so let me explain: A boudoir shoot is an intimate and sexy shoot, usually done in a fancy hotel room or the comfort of your own home, and is designed just for you and your valentine’s eyes. Boudoir sessions are classy, romantic, and may remind you of a glamour or lingerie ad. You don’t have to be a size 2 or nude, you just have to be you and the rest is my job! And of course, bridal sessions are a fun way to dust off your favorite dress and get some fun and charming photographs for you and your spouse. You can get glammed up, get some big balloons or a bunch of flowers, go to the city or the ocean, and most importantly get some more use out of that amazing dress.

So whether you want to get your big white dress on again or you want to get dolled up and take some personal portraits for your Valentine, there’s always an occasion to have more professional photographs adorn your walls and this Valentines Day is definitely one of them! Inquire soon and mention this post for the V-Day discount.

One of Many

I solicited the help of my dear boyfriend, Jared, to create a graphic to show support for the Norton family, be it on your blog, your website, facebook, or twitter. Please feel free to use this graphic in support of the Norton family in this time of need.

RIP GavinFor the past week or so I have been one of many concerned readers following Natalie Norton’s blog and twitter updates, one of many who were praying for her family and son, one of many who was spreading the word, and one of many who is now trying their best to help in any way to ease the pain that her and her family must be feeling. Although little Gavin never met us, he was able to touch our lives and speak right to our hearts and because of him and his courageous mother, his story was heard. I am one of many who were touched by their fight. I can’t say I know what they are going through, but I can only say I swell up with emotion just thinking of the huge outpouring of love and prayer and support that was given to this boy and his family over the past few days. He really touched all of our lives, and though I am only one of many, I think I speak for all of us when I say thank you for that. It’s wonderful to be connected in helping and healing a family, and I am proud to be one of many who reached out and exhausted all of their resources to help in any way. To the Norton family, I hope you find peace in this time of loss and know that the world is sending millions of thoughts and prayers your way to help carry you through.

Megan & Kevin: Orlando Couples Photography

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

Let’s start 2010 off with a bang. When Megan, whom you might remember from this shoot, and Kevin came to me to do a “just because” session, I was thrilled. I mean, first of all, just because sessions are the most fun and carefree sessions to shoot, but secondly, because this couple is just too stinkin’ sweet for words. Accordingly, we decided to do something “sweet” for their shoot. We went to a local johnny rockets (who were so kind for letting me walk around like I owned the place!) and ordered some desserts and took some pictures. From there, we went to the same place where these two were married, and took some football themed, outdoorsy shots. Overall, it was a very successful shoot and I am always happy to work with this pair. Megan and Kevin, thanks for being such great troopers, and I can’t wait to work with you guys again soon!
