This is pretty exciting for me, considering I check Ruffled every day (sometimes twice… who am I kidding, sometimes three times). This blog is the mecca for all things vintage, indie, chic, and pretty. And today, Katy & Jahred’s uber adorable vintage e-session is featured there. How could I not post a sneak peak of this perfect perfect perfect engagement session? I literally am beside myself with how gorgeous and awesome my clients are! Lindsay and Ryan really brought southern charm to a whole new level and I am so stinkin’ excited for their big day. (Hey Ryan, did you notice how I spelled “stinkin” ?)

This session has quickly become one of my most favorite sessions ever! I mean, with vintage clothing, old books, great hair, beautiful faces, and phenomenal locations, who could blame me? I want to shoot as many vintage inspired sessions as I possibly can, because there is nothing that visually interests me more than a great vintage photograph. Anyway, Katy and Jahred looked straight out of the 1940’s, and to no surprise to anyone who knows them, these two just had these gorgeous outfits lying around, as a part of their regular wardrobe. Because they share an affinity for literature (as well as stylish clothing), they brought along some favorite books for their shoot. We drove around and finally found some cool locations that completely fit with the genre of the shoot. So without anymore gushing on my part, here are some of my favorites from this chic and stunning session:
