Melinda & Tom: Vintage Engagement Photography

Camera’s on, settings are on point. Let’s start shooting. “Okay, let’s just get comfortable in front of the camera, we’ll do some happy simple shots first” I yell from behind the lens, anticipating how many frames it will take before this gorgeous couple lets their guard down and I can start some serious shooting. Then Melinda slowly looks up and follows the camera with her eyes. Almost immediately I stop and beg the question “Wait wait wait, have you done this before?!” – To which she smiles and tells me about her modest endeavors in modeling and how she really enjoyed it. A sneaky grin creeps onto my face, and that’s when I knew we were going to have a lot of fun that day.
Be prepared to be totally blown away by Melinda and her gorgeous angelic face. Her and Tom completely rocked it out in front of the camera and, as predicted, their session was a blast.

Um… HELLO! She is totally working it. I’m in love!

It’s so easy to get swept up in Tom & Melinda’s love for each other. I mean, this next frame, it’s like magic : )

Tom & Melinda, I shall see you lovebirds in November! I can’t wait!

Timelessly Vintage Engagement Session
Christy and Adam, where to start. These two are SO genuinely awesome and in love, it almost hurts! Like, truly, they are great. Everyone should find them on facebook and become friends with them. So anyway, Christy is a hairstylist (and as you will see by how she styled her hair for the shoot, a very talented one!), and both Christy and Adam love vintage settings and wanted something unique for their shoot. Well, sure enough, they pulled it off effortlessly and their engagement session is jaw-droppingly awesome and gorgeous. : )

So we started off at this retro 50’s diner and the lovely couple enjoyed some delicious chocolate and vanilla milkshakes. Yum..

Christy has a really, really great ring.

Then, we left the diner, found a gorgeous orange grove, and set up shop.

Interesting fact: Adam is actually about a foot taller than Christy.

Christy and Adam, thanks for being awesome and totally adorable. I don’t know if I can wait all the way until 2011 for your wedding, but I’m sure going to try.
