Yes, that’s right. This is going to be a two-part blog post so that I can visually overload you with all the goodness and gorgeousness of this fabulous and stylish modern barn wedding! Are you ready?!
Faithful blog readers might remember Lindsay & Ryan from this engagement session. Well now they’ve gone off and gotten married and I can’t wait to share all the gorgeous southern and rustic details with you : )
Ryan and Lindsay were married at the Cross Creek Ranch in Dover, Florida. The venue provides all sorts of whimsical details and rustic charm.
Lindsay and her bridesmaids were all kinds of glamorous. The bridesmaids wore blue asymmetrical cocktail dresses from David’s Bridal which were totally adorable and super chic.
Doesn’t Lindsay make such a stunning bride? I remember the words Ryan said to her when they finally got a moment alone were “You don’t even look real”, which altogether melted my heart. : )

Meanwhile, the Ryan and his boys weren’t looking too shabby themselves…
Ryan and his groomsmen kept it calm and classy, and there was lots of laughter and joking going on with this bunch. Plus they had on suspenders which I personally think is pretty cool.
And then they decided to get married!
They hung mason jars of flowers to line the aisle and chandeliers and lamps from the tree branches that overhung the alter space. It was like a fairytale! Lindsay said of her wedding vision “My vision was to have a wedding that showed the different sides to us as a couple; in which, was rustic, vintage and yet whimsical with the outside setting including the chandeliers, hanging crystals from the trees w/ the laterns. Every detail was meet to the fullest and exceeded my vision which made our wedding day a wedding to remember!”
I love these next two frames. The Pastor puts his hand on Ryan’s shoulder and whispers something wise to Ryan just as Lindsay turns the corner, and then Ryan’s face lights up with so much love while watching his bride walk towards him. I just can’t handle it!

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting the engagement session for Brad & Stephanie. So we went to downtown Sanford, where these two have lived for many years. It was fun to shoot a couple who has spent so much time in the town we were shooting in; Brad literally knows everyone and stopped a number of times to say hello to old friends and so on. Stephanie kept telling me how he knows everyone in town but I didn’t quite understand the truth to that statement until I witnessed it first hand! : )
