Hi friends! So here’s a blog post I’m excited to share, meet my lovely assistant Josie and her wonderful boyfriend Brandon. They are adorable, what else is there to say? : )
Annnnd, today is Josie’s birthday so here’s a little bit of bday love for her. We’ll be shooting a wedding all day today, probably the best way to celebrate a birthday haha : )
Amy and Scott are fun-loving couple who had a romantic destination wedding in the Keys! They had their ceremony and reception at the Southernmost House in Key West. The entire day was so beautiful and the weather was absolutely perfect. I’m excited to share their images with you guys : )
Amy made such a stunning bride, and it was hard to find a time when she wasn’t smiling from ear to ear that day.
I kind of fell in love with the images from their Bride & Groom session. These two just light up when they are around each other and it’s kind of magical to photograph. I felt honored. : )
One of my favorite memories from this wedding: we walked up to this spot, the southernmost point (a famous tourist photo stop in Key West), naturally there were toursits there, and Scott and Amy walked up in their wedding outfits to take a photo, Scott turns to the audience of tourists and whispers to them ,”Yeah it’s our first date”. : )
I am seriously loving all the details of their day:
Especially the color palate they chose – bright cobalt blue, aqua, and accents of citrus hues. Perfect for the tropical feel of the Keys!
Scott & Amy, you two were wonderful to work with, way too easy to photograph, and just altogether fun to be around. Thanks for having us there on your big day, we enjoyed every second of it. : )
Liz and Jon are a stunningly beautiful couple who were married at Casa Feliz in Winter Park, FL. Their entire day was filled to the brim with personal details, sweet touches, and loads of love. I’m just warning you guys now that while I tried to edit down the number of photos in this blogpost, I just couldn’t. So there’s a lot. : )
I’m obsessed with Liz’s Kate Spade shoes and all the personal DIY touches she put into her day, like putting the words “I Do” at the bottom of her shoes. : )
Doesn’t she make such a lovely bride? And check out that bouquet! Gorgeous.
And Jon looked fantastic in that grey suit! I am such a sucker for grooms in grey suits, I just love that modern twist on classic : )
Loving the soft color palette Liz chose for her wedding, soft sky blue, blushy sweet pink, ivory, and beigey tones. Lovely.
Then they got married and we took some awesome bride & groom shots : )
The best part about these two is how they light up when they are around each other. Stunning.

They put a lot of adorable personal touches into their details that really made the reception come together. As a general rule, the more details (especially personal touches / DIY details), the better.
And there was a lot of dancing.
And then they were off!
